蒸気と水の分離の詳細
一次蒸気と水の分離は、水からほぼすべての蒸気を取り除き、ドラム底部から加熱されたチューブに向かって出口接続（ダウンカマー）を通して再循環する蒸気を非常に少なくします。
二次分離では、蒸気は二次分離器またはスクラバーエレメント（通常は間隔の狭い波形の平行板）を通過して、最終的な水滴除去を行います。その後、蒸気はさまざまなポートから排出されます。
