適用場合
ボイラーでは、エコノマイザは液体を熱する熱交換装置、通常その液体の沸点を越える水、普通までである。エコノマイザはそう熱い、しかし十分に熱くないいい流動流れのエンタルピーをそれによりより有用なエンタルピーを回復し、ボイラーの効率を改善するボイラーで、使用されるには利用してもので示される。それらは冷水を予備加熱するのにそれを満たすボイラーから排気ガスの使用によってのが常であったエネルギーを節約するボイラーに合う装置である（給水）。
熱流動ヒーターを購入するとき、ヒーターを作動させる燃料の費用は主要な心配である。必要とされる燃料の量はヒーターの熱効率と関連している。熱効率を高めることは燃料の必要とされた、また操業費用の量を減らす。
ヒーターの熱効率を高め、燃費を削減する効果的な方法はヒーターの排気の積み重ねに特別な熱交換器を取付けることである。熱交換器は大気に他では失われる排気の積み重ねから熱を回復する。
