廃熱ボイラは蒸気を発生させるために付属装置が排出のガス送管の熱（か無駄熱を）吸収するガス送管のパスに一般に取付けられている広範囲の利用熱およびガス送管の温度を減らすためにである。
廃熱ボイラに次の特徴がある
1. 熱負荷不安定は生産周期として、変わる。
2. ガス送管の多量の塵。
3. ガスは腐食性である。
4. 廃熱ボイラの取付けはまた場所の状態に応じて、そこにであるいかに前陣プロセスの調整等ある。
